My name is Jérémie and I'm French. One of my main passions is travelling, discovering new cultures, and learning new languages, like Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish that I learned by myself. I currently live in Thaïland where I study Thaï at a language school. I've also worked in IT (computer science) for a long time. As I've always enjoyed transmitting my knowledge, I gave a lot of technical training to my customers. I have different hobbies, such as Latin dances, racket sports, and reading. I think my pragmatic way of teaching and my interest in different topics will help you improve your French in a friendly atmosphere. A très bientôt 🙂

Choose a native French teacher who fits how you want to learn
Every Live French tutor is a native French speaker from France, Belgium, Switzerland or another francophone country. All hold a university qualification and a teaching credential in French as a foreign language (DAEFLE, Master FLE, or equivalent). Average teaching experience is 9 years.
What that means in practice:
- Authentic pronunciation and natural expressions from the first lesson, not textbook French.
- Real-time correction on grammar, word choice, and accent, calibrated to your level.
- Cultural context from someone who grew up inside the language: idioms, register, regional usage, current vocabulary.
- Trained for online teaching. Tutors use screen sharing, shared docs, and chat to make a video lesson as interactive as in-person.

Eine kleine auf Französisch spezialisierte Sprachenschule mit Sitz in Belgien (nicht China), ich nutze vor allem Einzelsessions und nehme gelegentlich an der Grammatik-Lektion teil, aber es gibt auch -ohne Aufpreis- eine Mediathek, Konversationsgruppen und einen Literaturclub. Habe einige Alternativen probiert und diese gefällt mir am besten.Posted on Google inbal TolkatzirTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ich bin begeistert von live-french. Ich schätze die Flexibilität sehr, da ich immer dann, wenn ich Zeit habe, eine Unterrichtsstunde buchen kann. Es gibt eine große Auswahl von Lehrern. Ich freue mich auf jede Stunde und es fällt mir auch immer leichter mich auf französisch zu unterhalten. Ich schätze die Stunden mit Yasmine sehr!!
Why a private tutor accelerates spoken French
Fluency comes from speaking but unsupervised speaking practice plateaus fast. A private tutor closes that gap by correcting you in real time, feeding you the word you reach for, and pushing you slightly beyond your current ceiling each lesson. You hear authentic French, you produce French out loud, and you do it for an unbroken 30 or 45 minutes at a time, one-on-one. Most learners notice a meaningful jump after 4-6 weeks of two lessons per week.
You can also mix formats. Add a free seat at Live French Club, our weekly group conversation, to your private lessons, or switch a session to French by phone when your video connection isn’t reliable.

Two ways. You can browse the tutor profiles above, pick the one you want, and book a free trial with them directly. Or you can sign up for a free trial without picking anyone, and we’ll match you with a tutor based on your level, goal and schedule. You can switch teachers at any time.
Lessons are 30 or 45 minutes. For maintenance, 1 lesson per week works. To move up one CEFR level (for example A2 to B1), plan on 2 to 3 lessons per week. For exam prep with a deadline, 2 to 4 lessons per week in the final 2 to 3 months. Your tutor recommends a cadence after the free trial.
Each lesson runs on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet (your choice). Your tutor uses video, screen sharing, shared documents and chat. You can keep your webcam on or stay audio-only. Phone-only lessons are also available if you prefer.
Pricing depends on lesson length and the number of lessons you book per month. There are no contracts and no commitments beyond the lessons you book. Full details on the pricing page. The first trial lesson is always free, no credit card required.
The trial lasts 30 minutes on Zoom. Your French tutor assesses your level, asks about your goal and timeline, and runs a short sample lesson so you experience the teaching style. At the end, you get a recommended cadence and course type. You’re not committed to anything until you book paid lessons.
